Memory. Presence. Connection.
Every story starts private
Telling a story does not mean making it public. Time Machine is being built so its Creator can choose who may access it, when and under which conditions.
ExploreWho can enter a story
Privacy is the starting point. A Traveler's access must follow the Creator's authorization, rather than simply knowing the family, belonging to an organization or finding a link.
Preserving a Memory and sharing it are different decisions. The experience must distinguish a personal archive from content authorized for other people.
The moment matters too
A story may be intended for someone on a future date or at a particular age. A message for a special birthday is one example of how timing can be part of its meaning.
Access conditions must be understandable and respected before showing the content or using it in a conversation. The specific availability of these features will be communicated with the launch of the experience.
What it means to appoint a Custodian
A Custodian is someone chosen to carry out limited instructions, such as helping verify an event anticipated by the Creator. They do not receive ownership of the Memories or general permission to open them.
The designation must make clear what that person can do and under which circumstances. A Creator's death does not automatically make their stories public.
Permission stays with the Presence
Authorization must be checked before consulting the sources. A conversation cannot use memories outside the Traveler's permitted access.
Changes and revoked permissions must also be respected in conversations. An answer must not indirectly reveal material that the person is not allowed to know.
Public and private remain separate
In the Icon module, authorized Echoes are intended for the public Presence and Time Machine promotion within the contract. Publication requires the Icon’s approval of the complete Presence and Time Machine’s authorization. This does not open original vault files or administrative data. A partnership does not grant access to family Memories either.
These public pages explain the product and its principles. They are not an archive of user memories or an invitation to submit private stories through contact forms.
