Terms of use

Version 2.2Updated September 30, 2026

These terms explain the website, website TIM and Time Machine app/PWA features: echoes, Presences, subscriptions and top-ups. They retain the specific Icon onboarding and participation rules. Each provision applies to the service you use or purchase; publishing these terms does not itself activate a feature.

At a glance

  • Your stories and your rights in your voice and likeness remain yours.
  • Applying for access, saving a story, and authorizing publication are separate decisions.
  • Each service discloses its conditions before purchase; monthly use does not roll over and manual top-ups are for text-to-speech only.
  • In the Icon module, authorized Echoes are prepared for a public Presence and Time Machine promotion within the contract; publication requires final Icon approval and Time Machine authorization.
  • Website TIM provides product guidance without conversation training or consumption mining. App TIM requires separate permissions for those purposes.
  • Private echoes and private Presence conversations are excluded from advertising, commercial mining and general training.

1. Operator and scope

Time Machine / Máquina del Tiempo is a service of Next Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation, referred to here as Time Machine or Time. Contact address: 1616 W Cape Coral Pkwy, Suite 102, PMB 1004, Cape Coral, FL 33993, United States.

These terms cover timemachinepro.ai, maquinadeltiempo.ai and TIM's website guidance, together with accounts, in-app TIM, Reportero, echoes, Presences, subscriptions and top-ups within the app or PWA. The Privacy Policy explains data processing and is accessible from the website and app. Offer-specific conditions are disclosed before purchase. A commercial Icon Presence is also governed by its specific contract, which takes precedence on the commercial matters it regulates.

Contact privacy@timemachinepro.ai for personal-data requests and support@timemachinepro.ai for service, billing and complaints. Subscription, echo and Presence rules apply when the corresponding feature is purchased or used. Browsing or talking to TIM on the website does not itself create a subscription or authorize commercial use or training with conversations. App registration and use require the acceptance described in section 3.

Time Machine, also known as Máquina del Tiempo, is a product of Next Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation in the United States. Its mailing address is 1616 W Cape Coral Pkwy, Suite 102, PMB 1004, Cape Coral, FL 33993, United States. Contact us at info@timemachinepro.ai or +1 (469) 984-8798.

These terms cover maquinadeltiempo.ai, timemachinepro.ai, their language versions, the waitlist, applications and inquiries, and the general principles of private Icon access when enabled for you. Signed contracts and feature-specific terms supplement this text and take precedence for the matters they address, always subject to your mandatory legal rights.

The privacy policy explains how personal data is handled. Reading it, browsing, or accepting these terms does not by itself constitute consent to advertising, voice cloning, AI training, or publication of private content.

2. Roles and features

A Creator adds memories to a vault and chooses recipients, permissions and delivery conditions. An echo may contain text, photos, audio or video. The Orbit identifies people whom the Creator may authorize.

A Traveler views authorized echoes and interacts with accessible Presences. In that role, a Traveler cannot edit, delete, republish or change permissions for a Creator's echoes. One person may have several roles, each with its own permissions and purchasing conditions. A Custodian and alternate perform their assigned milestone-validation and continuity functions. An Icon is a verified Creator whose commercial Presence has a separate agreement.

Reportero provides assistance and interviews inside the app. TIM has two environments: website TIM guides visitors about the product; app/PWA TIM may contribute authorized conversations to train Time's models and analyze consumption preferences. Website TIM is not used for those purposes. Permissions are specific to the disclosed environment and purpose. Interview answers become echoes only through the Creator's confirmed action and permissions.

Creator, Traveler, and Custodian describe functions within a single account when those modules become available; activating a function does not grant access to other people's stories. An Icon is a Creator subject to specific verification and a commercial agreement.

A Traveler may access only what is authorized. A Custodian acts within a valid designation and documented instructions and authority; they do not acquire ownership of an identity or unlimited power to edit, publish, or monetize. A company or partner does not receive access to private memories by funding or facilitating the service.

Family relationships or death do not automatically expand permissions. Future legacy continuity requires specific verification, access, and retention rules. This website does not replace a will, legal designation, or the agreements governing those services.

3. Age and acceptance

Accounts are available only to people aged 18 or older who can enter into a contract. On first entering the app, before using its features, you must confirm your age and expressly accept these terms. Downloading alone is not acceptance.

Before app/PWA use, the entry screen provides the terms and privacy policy, age confirmation, and separate choices for app-TIM training and commercial permissions. Optional choices are not preselected and may be declined without losing basic purchased features. Time records the version, date and evidence of each decision.

A minor may be named as a future echo recipient but cannot access it through an account of their own until age 18, personal registration and fulfillment of the applicable delivery and access rules. This does not create an adult-managed child account.

Accounts and private access are intended for people aged 18 or over who can accept the applicable agreements. Representatives must have sufficient authority and be able to demonstrate it through the designated channel. Providing an email address, possessing a password, or being someone's relative does not establish legal authority to represent them.

  • Provide accurate information, protect your access credentials, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.
  • Share only materials and data you have the right to provide. Avoid unnecessary information about others.
  • Do not impersonate anyone or use the service for fraud, harassment, exploitation, unlawful content, or misleading representations of a person.
  • Do not attempt to access other people's stories, bypass permissions or verification, or interfere with service security.

4. Account and security

Provide truthful information, keep contact details current, protect credentials and notify support of unauthorized access. Time may reasonably verify identity before changing permissions, providing copies of your own content, handling data requests or closing an account.

Verification is limited to information needed for the request. Procedures requiring identity documents or biometric data carry their specific notices and authorizations where applicable. General acceptance does not authorize additional biometric uses.

5. Ownership and privacy of echoes

Creators retain their rights in echoes, memories and personal attributes. Time does not acquire ownership of their identity or legacy. Creators must hold the rights or permissions needed for authorized uses and respect other people appearing in a memory.

Personal-vault echoes are private. Time and its providers may not use them, their audio, transcripts or derived information for advertising, commercial data mining, consumption profiles or training general AI models.

The Creator authorizes only processing needed to store, organize, transcribe when requested, protect, play and deliver echoes under their permissions, and to create and operate an authorized voice and Presence. Technical authorization does not allow independent exploitation of voice, identity or memories, or representations of other people.

Providers process these materials on Time's behalf only for authorized features, subject to confidentiality, security and deletion duties. Using a provider does not release Time from its obligations. Material expressly authorized by an Icon for a public Presence follows the Icon contract; that commercial permission excludes the same person's separate personal vault and does not turn private echoes into commercial material.

You retain your rights in your stories, recordings, photographs, writing, and other materials. Providing them does not transfer ownership of your identity, voice, likeness, or story to Next Technologies, Inc., or expand any rights you lack in third-party materials.

When you ask us to store or process material through an enabled feature, you grant us a nonexclusive permission, limited to that purpose, to host it, make necessary technical copies, and process it or display it to people you authorize. Service providers may participate only as necessary for that feature and subject to the applicable data-processing terms.

This operational permission is not a general license to sell or advertise your stories, clone your voice, or train general-purpose models. Its duration depends on the requested service and current permissions, subject to the retention exceptions explained in the privacy policy.

6. Recipients and publication

Before publishing an echo, the Creator selects Only me, My entire Orbit, or specific Travelers and reviews release conditions. A saved draft remains private. Permissions cannot be inferred from conversations with Reportero or TIM.

Adding a Traveler does not automatically grant access to earlier echoes; the app asks the Creator to decide. Removing someone revokes that person's access without deleting echoes. Other authorized recipients keep access; if no recipient remains, the echo stays with the Creator.

While alive, the Creator may change rules and deactivate an echo. Deactivation removes Traveler access and excludes it from Presence answers, while allowing the Creator to retain and reactivate it. Release by date or milestone does not automatically close the echo later.

Traveler access permits consultation within the service, not downloading or reusing another person's echoes, commercial reproduction of their voice, distribution of copies or third-party access. This does not limit legal rights in your own data or the delivery of your own content on closure.

Saving a story does not make it public. Public or commercial use of private materials requires specific authorization and the relevant agreements. Permission to view a story also does not authorize a synthetic representation of the person telling it.

A feature involving synthetic voice, imagery, likeness, or a Presence requires advance explanation of its purpose, materials, scope, recipients, and revocation mechanisms. You may request review, suspension, or withdrawal of an authorized use; its scope will be handled under the consent, specific contract, and applicable law.

Enabled AI-assisted features can make mistakes. Review suggestions before saving or using them. An audio review does not certify the truth of a story or approve publication. A Presence is an artificial representation based on authorized materials: it is not the person, does not bring them back to life, and does not guarantee recovery of lost memories.

7. Presence and generated voice

A Presence is an AI representation based on authorized material. It is not the person, a live conversation with that person, or communication with someone deceased. Generated responses are distinguished from original recordings.

The Presence uses only approved echoes accessible to the particular Traveler. If no authorized information supports an answer, it must say so and must not invent memories, experiences or instructions attributed to the Creator. Generated responses may contain errors that can be reported to support.

Voice creation and operation require the rights holder's permission and applicable checks. Within that scope, an authorized echo may be consulted as an original and used for permitted Presence answers. Withdrawing the echo disables that use without transferring or changing ownership of the recording.

A Presence cannot act for the represented person, enter contracts, dispose of assets or change their decisions. Its answers do not replace professional advice or legal succession documents.

8. Custodianship and death

Death is verified through the documentary procedure applicable to the country and account. An unverified report does not authorize others to edit the legacy. If a report is false, the appropriate access and features are restored.

After verification, the vault is sealed according to the Creator's existing state and rules. No new memories are added in their name, echoes are not edited, and drafts, deactivated or unpublished material are not published.

Already-published echoes awaiting a date or milestone retain their delivery schedule. The Custodian validates predefined milestones without choosing new recipients or changing content or permissions. Replacement and succession follow valid designations and applicable law.

Inheritance of personal-legacy access follows the Creator's authorized rules and does not make an Icon's commercial subscription inheritable. An Icon's death does not authorize new memories; commercial continuity of existing material follows their contract.

9. Subscriptions and payments

Creating a Traveler account and entering the app is free. Viewing shared echoes and talking with a Presence requires its subscription unless a promotion or express access applies. A Custodian can validate milestones without a Traveler subscription.

Each Presence is purchased separately; cancellation or inactivity of one does not affect another active subscription. Features, price, currency, applicable taxes, billing period, charge date and voice limits are disclosed before purchase. Multiple-Presence bundles exist only when expressly offered.

Automatic renewal follows the express payment authorization given at purchase. You may stop renewal through the purchase channel's management mechanism. Cancellation preserves access for the paid period and neither deletes echoes nor closes the account.

Payments use the processors or stores identified at checkout. Time does not ask you to send complete card numbers by email or to assistants. Payment-channel conditions do not replace mandatory consumer rights.

After a failed renewal, Time notifies you and allows seven days of continued access. If unresolved, the affected paid service is suspended. A Creator may still enter, view their material and deactivate or revoke access, but cannot create or publish new echoes while creation service is suspended. A Creator's nonpayment does not itself suspend Travelers with active subscriptions.

The waitlist and public forms do not constitute a purchase or authorize charges. Any paid service must disclose its price, currency, applicable taxes, duration, renewal, cancellation, and relevant refund terms before purchase.

Reading this website does not enter you into future plans, royalty arrangements, or service options. These terms also do not create payment obligations for relatives, heirs, Travelers, or Custodians. Specific continuity commitments and included services must appear in the agreement for any service eventually purchased.

10. Monthly use and voice top-ups

The monthly fee provides use of the purchased service, not a monthly token balance. Unused monthly use does not accumulate or become credit for later periods.

Text-to-speech generation has the maximum stated in the plan. Separately purchased top-ups are exclusively for additional text-to-speech, not text conversation or playback of original audio.

Every top-up purchase is manual and requires confirmation; there are no automatic top-ups. Total price, purchased capacity, applicable charges and consumption rules are shown first.

Purchased balance belongs to the account, can be used with any actively subscribed Presence and remains while the account exists, including when all subscriptions are inactive. Reactivation allows use of the remaining balance.

Each period first uses the plan's voice allowance. Once exhausted, confirmation is required before consuming purchased balance. Authorization covers that conversation and later conversations with that Presence until its next renewal. The new period uses the plan allowance first and requires fresh confirmation if it is exhausted.

Without a purchase or consumption authorization, you may continue in text under reasonable-use rules and access original echoes while subscribed. Exhausting generated voice does not block original photos, text, audio or video.

Unused balance is not refunded solely because you voluntarily close the account permanently, subject to mandatory rights. This does not exclude claims for incorrect charges, Time's failure to perform or a service closure attributable to Time.

11. Reasonable text use

Reasonable-use rules cover abusive automation, bulk extraction, interference and exceptionally heavy personal text use that compromises shared resources. Heavy personal use alone is not presumed malicious.

For exceptionally heavy personal use, Time warns first. If excess continues, it may temporarily pause text conversation and state when it can resume. Measures must be proportionate and cannot introduce unpurchased text charges.

Abusive automation or a security risk may justify immediate restriction of the affected feature, an explanation and human review, except where a specific legal restriction limits disclosure. Reasonable use applies to text; generated voice follows the plan's explicit maximum and authorized top-ups. Operating criteria and resumption times must be explained clearly in the app.

12. Retention during inactivity

Inactivity or an inactive subscription is not an instruction to delete the legacy. Ten years of inactivity allows migration to lower-consumption infrastructure, not deletion, echo expiration or loss of recipients' rights.

Migration preserves echoes, permissions, recipients and release rules. Valid access activity or an heir's active license prevents treating the legacy as completely inactive; resumed activity restarts the applicable count.

Echoes intended for minors remain until they can access under the established conditions, even without an active subscription during the wait. Vault retention differs from conversation-history retention and the archive after voluntary closure.

13. Reactivation and recovery

Reactivation charges only the new subscription period, without payment for inactive months or years. Recovery from lower-consumption infrastructure is included without a rescue or recovery fee.

If recovery takes time, the paid period begins when content becomes available. Time communicates recovery status and does not condition recovery of the legacy on past-due payments for inactive periods.

14. Promotions and price changes

Free trials, including a campaign's possible seven days, are optional promotions, not a permanent entitlement. Time may create, change or end campaigns for future purchases while honoring conditions already accepted.

Before acceptance, each promotion discloses duration, eligibility, scope, limits, subsequent price, renewal and cancellation. Post-trial charges require the relevant payment authorization.

Subscription price increases are announced at least thirty days before the renewal at which they apply, allowing cancellation before the charge. Prices are not increased retroactively for a paid period.

15. Support and service-failure compensation

Send inquiries or complaints through enabled app channels or support@timemachinepro.ai. Human staff reviews only private-conversation excerpts expressly shared by the Traveler for that case and needed to handle it.

If a failure attributable to Time prevents delivery of a paid service, you may choose an equivalent time extension or proportional refund. Compensation requires a claim and is not automatically applied.

For this compensation procedure, submit the claim within thirty calendar days of service restoration. Time resolves it and applies the extension or refund within ninety calendar days of receipt, or sooner if applicable law requires.

This procedure does not shorten legal claim periods or require exhausting support before contacting a competent authority. Privacy requests follow their legal deadlines, not automatically the ninety-day compensation period.

Shared excerpts are deleted when the case is resolved. The residual administrative record contains only case number, dates and outcome, without private conversation content, and is deleted within forty-eight hours after support closes the case satisfactorily, subject to the Privacy Policy's narrow legal-retention exception.

16. Complaints about echoes or Presences

Anyone whose rights may be affected by an echo, recording, image, voice or Presence may contact privacy@timemachinepro.ai or support@timemachinepro.ai. Identify the material or provide enough information to locate it, explain your connection to the asserted right, and provide evidence and contact details.

Time reviews what is necessary, seeks clarification and gives the Creator an opportunity to respond. A substantiated concern may justify restricting affected material during review or taking appropriate action. Urgent action required by law, a valid order or established risk may precede the response.

A complaint does not authorize general vault access or delivery of private material to the complainant. Review is restricted to relevant material and authorized staff. Time communicates its decision and offers human review within confidentiality and legal limits.

When copyright claims require a specific legal procedure, its notice, response and reinstatement requirements apply. Impersonation or unauthorized-voice complaints are considered on their own merits without imposing irrelevant intellectual-property requirements.

17. Voluntary closure of a Creator account

A Creator may request closure through a verifiable written channel sixty calendar days in advance, identifying the account and intended date. Time informs affected Travelers. The Creator may withdraw the request during that period.

New sales and renewals of the affected Presence stop upon receipt of notice. Travelers retain paid access until their period expires or closure takes effect, whichever is earlier. Any paid portion that cannot be delivered after closure is refunded proportionally.

By the effective closure date, Time provides the verified owner a free copy of their own content in common formats, with available index and metadata. This excludes Time's software, general models and proprietary technology. A secure download remains available for thirty days unless a valid earlier-deletion request applies.

On effective closure, the Presence and related shared access are disabled. Material remains in a protected, inactive archive for up to twelve months for possible express reactivation, without conversation, advertising or general-training use. If not reactivated, it is deleted at the end, subject only to strictly necessary legal retention.

The notice period protects paid-access continuity and does not prevent earlier deletion or revocation required by law. Such requests are handled separately with their effects and refund obligations. Icons also follow their contract's termination provisions.

18. Closure of a Traveler account

Subscription cancellation and permanent account closure are different. Before closure, the Traveler is informed of the applicable loss of history, access and top-up balance and must expressly confirm. Closure does not delete or change any Creator's echoes.

If the person also has a Creator vault or commercial Presence, affected services are identified separately and their continuity procedures apply. Canceling one subscription is not treated as an instruction to delete the entire account.

19. Service closure by Time

For planned platform closure, Time gives at least sixty calendar days' notice, stops new sales and renewals incompatible with the closure date, facilitates delivery of users' own content and proportionally refunds undelivered paid services.

If closure cannot be planned, Time informs users without undue delay and organizes content delivery and settlement of pending services under applicable continuity rules. Technical causes or provider involvement do not automatically remove users' rights or Time's responsibility.

20. Permitted use and protective measures

You must not impersonate others, create unauthorized voices or Presences, access others' material without permission, distribute illegal content, harass people, bypass security or commercially exploit others' private echoes. Disagreement or a good-faith complaint is not itself abuse.

Time may take proportionate measures for established violations, from limiting affected material to suspending features or ending service for serious or repeated breaches. It explains the reason and offers review when possible. Such measures do not authorize commercial use of private content or charges not legally due.

21. Operation and responsibility

Time provides the service with reasonable care and protection, recovery and continuity measures consistent with its commitments. AI is not guaranteed infallible and interruptions may occur; failures are addressed through applicable correction and compensation mechanisms.

Each party is responsible for its conduct and breaches under the law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or automatically excuse Time for provider failures. They do not impose automatic indemnification of Time for every complaint against a user.

We may perform maintenance or change features in development. We may also restrict access because of security issues, unlawful use, missing authorization, or a material breach. Where appropriate, we will explain the measure and provide a channel to request review; immediate action may be necessary to protect people, data, or systems.

We work to provide a reliable service, but no system is free from interruption, error, or data loss. Pilot access is not a guarantee of perpetual preservation. These explanations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or commitments in a specific contract.

Time Machine does not provide medical or psychological care or legal or financial advice. AI responses or suggestions should not be the sole basis for important decisions.

Nothing in this text limits your mandatory consumer or data-protection rights, or your ability to contact the competent authority or court. You may contact us about a complaint without doing so being a prerequisite for exercising those rights.

22. Changes to the terms

Current versions are accessible through the website and app. Account-affecting changes are announced in the app with a clear summary, complete text, version and effective date. Where acceptance is required, an express I have read and accept action records version and date. A reading acknowledgment is not acceptance of different contractual conditions.

New optional data uses require their own permissions. General updates do not activate commercial consent or retroactively authorize private-echo uses. Changes preserve accepted promotions and rights for paid periods.

If you do not accept a contractual change, you may cancel future renewals and request closure or content delivery under continuity rules. Changes must not delete your legacy or leave a paid period unresolved. Measures immediately required by law or security are communicated with an appropriate explanation.

The current version and effective date will be published here. Material changes affecting users with an active relationship will be communicated through an appropriate channel where required; if a change requires new acceptance or consent, we will request it before applying the new use. An update does not make private materials public or retroactively change specific permissions.

For questions about these terms: info@timemachinepro.ai. For privacy or data requests: privacy@timemachinepro.ai.

23. Governing law and courts

The contract is governed by applicable Florida and United States federal law. To the extent permitted by law, disputes go to the competent state courts of Broward County, Florida, or the competent federal court for the Southern District of Florida.

This choice does not remove mandatory consumer protections or nonwaivable access to courts under the law of your residence. These terms impose neither mandatory arbitration nor a class-action waiver.

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective to the extent legally possible. Specific Icon agreements retain their scope. The Privacy Policy and express permissions must be interpreted consistently with protection of private content.

24. Current stage and access

The public website introduces the product, accepts requests for a launch notice, and receives Icon applications and partnership inquiries. Story capture is being developed through private, limited access for enabled participants. A demonstration or illustrative video does not establish that every feature is available.

The family experience, Traveler and Custodian roles, Presence and other capabilities are enabled in stages. Availability, requirements and conditions are disclosed before each feature is used. Joining a waitlist does not guarantee an opening date, admission or permanent availability.

25. Icon applications and agreements

Submitting a form authorizes evaluation and contact as stated at submission. It does not create an enabled account, Official Edition, representation relationship, commercial license, or revenue guarantee. We may request further information and review identity, authority, and the rights presented.

Identity and eligibility review, contract signature, access activation, and publication approval are separate steps. Signing a contract or completing a recording does not automatically publish a profile or activate a Presence.

Editing, use of name, likeness or voice, territories, duration, compensation, and withdrawal rules are set out in the specific agreement with the Icon and, where relevant, their representative. Illustrative figures and preliminary discussions do not replace that agreement.

26. Participation in the Icon module

Joining as an Icon includes a signed contract and biometric identity verification through DocuSign before access to contribute materials is enabled. Initial acceptance in the app complements that process. The contract already governs the relationship during preparation; later approval of the Presence concludes the review of the result.

Echoes contributed and authorized in the Icon module are intended to build and operate the Icon’s public Presence and promote Time Machine within the scope of the Icon Agreement. This purpose differs from a private or family account. It does not make identity documents, contact details, signature evidence or original vault files public, or authorize endorsements of third-party products.

You review each Echo and choose to save it when satisfied. This includes the material under the contract and initial acceptance, without a new checkbox or signature for each file. Saving an Echo or receiving an automated audio review does not by itself authorize publication.

Before a Presence is offered to end customers, the Icon must approve their complete Presence, including its voice, and Time Machine must separately authorize publication through an authorized person. Both decisions must be recorded in the app. This final approval and publication process is in preparation. An AI agent may support review but will not replace those decisions.

Completing the questionnaire, reaching the operational target of 120 recording minutes, or receiving an ElevenLabs result does not automatically publish the Presence. Substantial changes to voice, appearance, purpose or represented identity require renewed approval under the Agreement. The Presence is identified as an artificial intelligence representation.

During preparation, you may review and delete your Echoes until you approve your complete Presence, including its voice. Finishing the questionnaire does not end that opportunity. Approval fixes the reviewed set submitted to Time Machine for publication authorization.

When the Presence is published for end customers, its supporting Echoes will be retained and protected in the vault, with no direct deletion from the app. Later requests for changes, withdrawal or deletion will be handled under the Agreement and this policy, including their effects on originals, derivatives and backups. This does not establish indefinite retention or remove applicable rights. The contractual contact for Icons is iconos@timemachinepro.ai.

27. Corrections, withdrawal, export, and deletion

You may request assistance to correct information, withdraw a permission, obtain a copy of your data, or close private access. Use the available controls or privacy contact; when an operation has no self-service control, it will be handled through that channel.

A request may require verification of your identity or authority and clarification of the materials affected. Withdrawing publication permission, unsubscribing from messages, canceling a service, and deleting data have different effects. The privacy policy explains how requests and legal retention exceptions are handled.

28. Website content and external services

The website's original marks, designs, writing, and software belong to Next Technologies, Inc. or its licensors. You may browse and share links; other uses require permission unless allowed by law. Third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

External services linked or used for authentication, signing, or security may have their own notices and terms. Those terms cannot by themselves expand the permissions you have granted Time Machine over your content.
